The African-American Health Initiative (AAHI) is a partnership of the San Bernardino County Medical Society, the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health, Inland Wellness Information Network, and over 30 community based organizations and individuals throughout San Bernardino County.

     African Americans suffer more illnesses, injuries and deaths due to a host of health problems than other racial and ethnic groups in the county. Our initiative is a call to action challenging concerned citizens to identify ways to improve the health of African Americans in our communities.

     To achieve the important goals of this initiative, we need the support of the total community. We reach out to entities in the community for financial assistance to achieve the much-needed change in the health risks of our African American friends.
